Starting in 1973 Scottish Sea Farms have farms along the West Coast of Scotland and in the Orkney and Shetlands Islands providing their salmon with the best environments to grow allowing their business to expand to export to over 25 different world markets.
Cloud Cover IT were chosen to provide 1st Line and where necessary our 2nd Line service calls for the Scottish Sea Farms 50 different locations. Cloud Cover helped assist the internal IT Support team at every stage of Scottish Sea Farms’ operations.
Being geographically spread over multiple sites more often than not in remote areas around Scotland and each site typically having multiple buildings, it necessitated a forward thinking approach to remote support.
Scottish Sea Farms required additional support with their IT due to their in-house IT department, that they rely heavily on, being over-saturated with everyday IT queries. This resulted in their staff having less time to focus on larger projects.
